Mom asked me what I wanted for Christmas this year and I told her I had been looking at a Makita 10-gauge electric power shear. Come Christmas day that's what I got

Went to Harbor Freight tonight and bought an Extra-Large Apache case to put it in since Makita doesn't have a worthy case for such a fine tool.

I watch Karl Fisher @ Make It Kustom all the time on YouTube and he's always buzzing around with this shear.

Tomorrow I am going to give it a go on some 18-gauge I've been waiting to cut some pieces out of.

Can't wait to get to start using this.

Nice. I bought a slightly different model...the DJS200 shears. Cuts nice and fast without leaving waving/daggy edges.

I used it for cutting fridge panels for my garden shed. Way faster than the circular saw blade with a steel bade, and no mess and virtually no noise.

Does that head rotate?

I have a corded version of that in a Milwaukee that I've owned for 4-5 years and have never cut the first piece with it.

Cordless would be really handy in a lot of places.

Thinking my next purchase is going to be a B2 Beverly shear.
