we are in the new HP wars & "muscle car era"
Hell many "even the mini vans"
will walk on the ol' Iron, big time, unless
it's highly modified & even then sometimes too
"technology" has it's place, even with this "old fart"
I Like them both,
it'd be cool not having to wrench on stuff constantly,
to keep it tip top tune...
I do get a different type of experience driving or working on the RR,
it's all the sense "are alive", when driving it...
Albeit;
My newest MoPar is a 99 Dakota SLT 4x4, Magnum 5.2 ltr
with a bunch of bolt on's & tuner, maybe 300hp it's fun too
It's not the same as driving the RR, but still fun
& comfortable after I done having fun...

My sister has a 2017 Chrysler 300, loaded except for no Hemi
my dad bought her for her 60th BD
that thing is fast, even with a 300hp v6, It's fast for what it is...
I'd love to have a ARC Viper or a 96 GTS Viper
or a Demon, Red Eye or reg. Hellcat
even a Charger SRT Hellcat or even a Durango SRT
they'd be just different than driving the o'l Iron...
I've driven a bunch of the new Challengers & Rams or Durango etc.
they are nice, a few things I don't care for but it's not 1968 anymore
driven a couple friends Vipers
(
don't like the exhaust tone, but I'd change the manifolds to long tube headers
& different mufflers to get a more v8 like sound & then live with it)
I'd like to build a Prowler, twin turbo'd or supercharged etc. too
cost & insurance cost of the new stuff
is the only thing stopping me, "usually" budget restraints...
I'd love to have several different models....
My biggest problem is I can't just leave anything alone...
I have to put my touch or personality into what ever I drive
old Iron or New Plastic
Hell I wish FCA/Dodge or Ram even
would come out with a SRT Dakota 4x4 Hellaphant or Hellcat
to eat the Raptors lunch
