Memorial Day Weekend

It's that time once again, Memorial Day Weekend. 4 day weekend of grilling out, working on the car, getting caught up on chores around the house.

But for some, its remembrance of that father who used to work on the house, for that son who used to work on that car, and for the daughter that used to help finish those chores around the house.

This Memorial Day Weekend, take a moment to look around and reflect. For all gave some, and some gave all.

Ten years ago I noticed a trend.
People were "celebrating" Memorial Day on merchant signage and on the radio.
I remember calling two merchants and the radio to point out that Memorial Day is properly an observance.
Maybe it's me, but I think that I have seen a change toward a better understanding this year in the media.
