Mopar perf torsion bars ?

To answer on one of the questions above about the PST 1.03 bars. They are designed with a 20 degree offset. So that they install as per the factory per the factory service manual and also by have the 20 degree offset it give plenty of adjustment to have a lowered stance or factory ride height. Lastly our bars come powder coated only on the rounded surfaces and not at the hex portion like some others so that there is no interference at the anchor points.

Thank

Thanks for the info James
How does that 20 deg index compare to the factory indexing ? I'm assuming it's less than the factory to allow for more room on the lower end of the ride height range ?

Are the bars specific to left and right ? Or can they be swapped, and does that have effect on the ride height ?

Finally, the ends are (without coating) still 1.25" across (flat to flat) ?

I am trying to maintain the higher end of the ride height spec with this car

Thanks again

The degree of index is in direct correlation to the increase in bar diameter. The premise when we had this bar designed/engineer was to have it install just as the factory bars do without any additional tension needed at the adjusters to achieve stock ride height. The bars themselves are labeled left and right on one end of the bar and we suggest that the labeled ends point to the rear of the vehicle. The hex portions measure 1.25" and are uncoated.

Thanks
James
