My 73 Roadrunner Project

Just saw the car today after paint. What does everyone think? This is original FE5, but my camera doesnt take the best pictures.

Included a few of what she looked like before and the trip through the body shop!

I like that color. Is that the original color they repainted? It will look good when the chrome and stripes go back on.

Yes, should be original FE5 paint. I have seen others with FE5 but they all look different, plus it was late afternoon with low sun angle, and not so good of a camera, so you do see a bit more of the orange pigment showing up in the red.

She is back on the ground, and hopefully will be back this weekend. Not gonna stripe her until the spring when it gets warmer, plus incase she gets scratched during reassembly, it will be easy to fix with out stripes.

That is a beautiful Roadrunner and everyone with the 73-74s are making it hard for me not just go and pay the guy the extra money he wants for his.

have you done any youtube videos of the car being restored? I've watched some on there and it almost looks like your car in one of them.

That resto project is looking suh-weeet! Very nice. The body looks like it's made of glass in the second pic.

I showed your car to a friend of mine and his jaw just about dropped when he saw how beautifull your car looked.

My Baby has finally come home today!!!!! She has been gone since June!!!!! I need to get a better camera, but she is looking awesome!! I will hopefully have some better pictures tomorrow when the light is better!

I have had this car since 1983, so its been a long wait to get her back to this stage!

First part bolted back on, aside from the suspension, I put the steering gear box back on!!!! Next is body plugs, bumpers, and firewall insulation!
