My car has arrived!

Nice score man! Hope to see it at some of the CT car shows this season (if it ever warms up here!)

I'll be running the circuit especially the Mopars In Motion shows. Hopefully we can meet up sometime.

Unfortunately I will have to be a spectator, at least until Fall as the engine is not yet done for my A12. I'll look for you at Ralph's shows for sure...

:thankyou:Like a proud Papa, posting photos of the new child

glad to hear, it sounds like, it's better than expected

have fun, cleaning & spiffing/detailing her up,
get out & enjoy her

Nice Charger ! My old coronet interior just gets a bath with a little dawn dish soap & water each spring , then just dust it and vac after that until next year.

Simple Green 30% blend and microfiber towels clean just about anything inside and out. I like 303 protectant and as a owner of convertibles for over 30 years, I am a believer in 303's claims.

I'm also one of those weird people that believe water and cars don't mix. I've been using the DriWash product on all of my cars since 1993, and my last car, a 1990 LeBaron convertible that I sold in 2011 with 147K miles, had the original paint that had people asking me who painted the car (my reply 'Chrysler' was always followed by, what dealer? It was difficult to convince people the car had the original paint). It takes a major change in the thought process, but I'm sold on DriWash for my car's exteriors.

Very nice! Glad it arrived safe and sound.. I'm waiting for that burnout vid!

Congrats, looks nice!

The Simple Green mix is good. When we pulled the GTX out of its 10+ year stint in garage jail, it was nasty inside, smell and all. Everything got pulled apart and washed and/or pressure washed. Seats got scrubbed and hosed off and the carpets and mats got pressure washed. Seat belts were washed in a bucket and laid out to dry. Simple green is good stuff and it's real hard to screw anything up if diluted and not left to dry. Everything left in the car was wiped down including the headliner with the SG mix.

After everything is dry then you can dress everything. I like Adams stuff but I've used a rubber and vinyl conditioner/protectant from Meguiers that works on everything including tires and the top. If forget the number but it's in the tan spray bottle. It does not over dress anything and make it greasy.

When it comes to vynil products that "shine" all that shine does is make you feel good. It actually is not adding protection. It actually is holding heat in the vynil which leads to cracking.

You want a product that will add a moisture by soaking in and has some sort of method to protect against UV. The 303 product is one of the best I've found.

I've experimented with simple green mixes and found 30% with a microfiber towels cleans best from bumper to bumper inside and out.

Hey Guys! Well spent about 2hrs vacuuming, dusting, and cleaning the interior from top to bottom. I used some pine sol & water and a sponge. Had to empty the bucket 2x as the water was so black. Once it was all clean used window spray to clean it even more & got the windows sparkling nice & clean.

Once that was done went down to the touchless car wash and gave it the works. Had my youngest son & his buddy on standby with towels for any leaks. Some water got in but no big deal. Once out of the wash gave it a nice rub down & man did it look good! I really don't think the last owner ever cleaned it this good.

Drove it all around town with my wife and got tons of thumbs up! Gonna have a blast this summer for sure. Gotta say in my opinion it's a 5'-10" foot car & no way a 25 footer.

Took the fender tag off so I could see the back & decode it better. Here's the photo that I flipped so that it's easier to read. I went to the Moparts website which according to this website where I was able to decode it (http://www.jani-immonen.net/decoders/tag6768.html) says the Moparts info is outdated & not updated. Let me know if you see any errors.

Went down to the DMV this am to get the car into the system. All went fine, except I have to go to an emissions place to get the VIN verified. That's one of the craziest things I've ever heard of. Anyone else have to do this in other states? I have temp plates now & once I get the VIN verified, I have to go back to the DMV & get the plates.

In Arizona any car from out of state needs vin verification. Part of the process is to verify no vin alteration.

Too bad they can't do that on site. Now I have to go to an emissions testing place & pay $10 for that service. It's extorsion $, LOL to fix our crumbling state budget.

FSM came in today! Was a GREAT ebay @ $32.10 & has the old car smell to boot! As it's an original the print quality will top any of the reprints which are more expensive & are probably just copies of the originals. The images in the reprints will probably be all plugged up/filled in and not the greatest reproduction quality.

There were some cover issues so I just affixed some clear tape to the outside & inside covers to keep it from ripping off.
