My new hole in the water...

Congrats on the new to you boat (hole in the water)
it won't be too bad, not much to it :poke:
should be fun
we will need threads & photos of 'all the big fish' caught off
"the SS Minnow"

till you buy an outboard, crazy prices nowadays

be cool to have a center helm, like a lil' whaler

2 best days of boat ownership
the day you buy it & the day you see it leaving the driveway/garage/shop,
for the 1st outing... It only goes down from there :bananadance:
or
the day you sell it, some opinions will vary

I have a '77 16ft tri-hull runabout/walkthru bowrider
with a 50hp Merc (ol' org. 2 stroke) it will plane/cruise about 35mph
a lil' faster with a different pitch prop, but I like it for trolling
used to use it it a lot, mostly all freshwater lakes
dad used it for Bass Tourneys way back when, bought it in 1979-80
I haven't used it much, since dad's heart surgery, a couple years ago

You'll have to bring it up nort after you get it sea worthy, Mario!

See if you can find a Yamaha 15 hp 4 stroke.
You can't even tell if it's running it's so quiet.
Troll all day on a quart of ethanol free

I think my skiboat is staying in this year, burns 10 gallons a day! I'll just use the duck boat. I've been thinking of finding one of these since I saw Freiburger and Steve with one.

**UPDATE**

The battery is still dead. Only holding 12.34v at rest. Water levels are good and I don't see any obvious phosphate on the plates. Oh well. My buddy did tell me it was basically a core. lol
