Need recommendations for new tires

I said "more" period correct. Everybody puts BFG T/A radials on everything thinking they were available back then. Weren't available in many sizes until the mid seventies. Mickey Thompsons came out in the mid sixties. First ones were not DOT approved (actual racing tires) but many used them anyway because of the low profiles that were not readily available from anyone else yet.

I remember that and yes, many took the chance and used them.

I have BFG 275 60 15 on the rear of my 63 Dodge 440

I don’t think I have enough back spacing on my rims to use 275’s and I want them inside the wheel well.

I like the Mastercraft Avenger GTs with the raised white letters, if you can find them. I had the exact size you reference on my 69 Dart. With regards to redlines, Diamondback is what the majority of people recommended to me for radial redlines. Installed them on the GTX and don't regret it.
