I just ordered a new 4 post lift today from Best Buy auto equipment. I was buying the Bend Pak HD-9XW but ended up choosing the Forward lift EFP9 for a little more cash and it is wider, taller, and the accessories I was purchasing on the Bendpak are included with this unit. Oh yea and free shipping.

Sweet, bro. Enjoy it. And post some pix of the install.

Very cool! I hope you can post up some pictures of it installed, looks like a nice lift!

They said 2 to 3 weeks for delivery so we will see. Yes I know its over priced but it will hold a Dually truck if I wanted to place it on the lift. It is also wide enough to drive a dually on the bottom.

That will be really nice. Do you plan on using it to store a car on and be able to park under it? Or pretty much for service?

I think my new hoist will arrive today, I went with 2 post because it suits the type of work I have in mind a little better, but I'd really like to be able to add a 4 post some time in the future because of it's obvious benefits. They really are 2 specifically different tools, there is some crossover in the way that they both work equally well for certain tasks, but there are specific tasks that separate them. I really would like to have both some day.

I bought this lift to store something on it and I can still work on the unde neath of the car. The main reason I bought this is so I could move it around the shop with the caster wheel kit.
Don't know weather it's true or not but one fellow told me I should not store my uni body car on a 2 post lift, with that being said I was not going to be the one to prove him correct, lol. The shop I am in I bought for my mechanics and I guess I took it over, I am not 100% sure if I am keeping it or giving it back to them. I am planning on putting up another individual bay building for them beside this one. I guess for now iam really not sure which one is going to be for my toys, so I didn't want to bolt the lift down either.

Did you already order the caster kit? I bought one for my 2 Bendpaks to move them around. They worked awesomely, but now I'm tripping on them. If they work for your lift, I'd love to sell you mine at a decent price since I don't need them and you do. PM me if you'd like.

Rich, thanks for the offer. The reason I bought this over the Bendpak is all the extras including the caster kit is included with this model.

Dang, I thought I was on to something.

I'll have to find another unsuspecting victim. LOL

What if I buy them off you and then sell them back to you in a month, would that make you feel better. Lol

Looks nice. That's a big lift. I have the Band Pak HD-9XW, and it's been great, but you have to take the outer wheels off a dually truck to put it on the lift. I do park a dually under the lift, no problem there.

That's a nice lift, one of the ther features I liked about the forward was it locks and unlocks in different positions manually. The bend Pak requires air.
