Roadster Shop built this 1968 Dodge Power Wagon at their company in Mundelein, Illinois. The truck rides on a Roadster Shop custom chassis based off their RS4 architecture with Fox 2.5×10-inch remote reservoir coilovers, Baer disc brakes, Forgeline 18-inch wheels, and BFGoodrich Mud-Terrain tires (37×12.5). Under the hood sits a supercharged 6.2 L Hellcat V8 crate motor making 707 horsepower and 650 lb-ft of torque. The drivetrain features an Automatic Transmission Design 4L80E four-speed automatic transmission, Atlas transfer case, and Currie 60 VXR axles with 1-ton knuckles.

Visceral is the best word I can use to describe my 72 Charger. It has a built 440 with a mechanical cam and a six pack, 4.11 gears and a built 727. When you step hard on the loud pedal it roars and goes. It is not as fast as my friends Viper or Hellcat 6spd but it is much more fun. I love the lope in its idle compared to modern muscle. And if you stand behind it idling for too long it will bring tears to your eyes. Every time I drive it I am 16 again! And the biggest surprise is my wife likes it and likes riding in it.

Seriously a GM 4L80 trans behind a new hemi when you could have put a 8hp flite in it ,geez... on that power wagon. Not sure why folks keep doing it other than cost. IMO
