No start - very weak spark

Well........sooooo um I was able to get some spark, but I pretty sure the distributor reluctor / rotor should not be able to spin freely.

Can you be more specific ?

With the distributor mounted inside the engine , the rotor just spun freely on the shaft ?

Or the distributor shaft and rotor spun freely all together , and the distributor hold down was secure

If I hold the bottom shaft, I'm able to fully rotate the top shaft.

The obvious problem is a broken shaft.....replace the distributor in its entirety....call Ray Brenner @Hallifaxhops .......he'll supply exactly what you need.......

I bought a new distributor and a new control module. Still a light thin brownish spark. No start.

Pick up coil has 438 ohms. Control module has .57 volts and .6 ohms.

During testing I can make it spark with a test light. But it looks nowhere near the spark in the picture.

Oh and I bought new battery cables and new grounding cables.

These exact drawings/sketches of the two different ignition system connections have been presented in at least 50 times thus far.....redundant??....or perhaps, people just don't understand???......

I agree. Not everyone is an experienced Mopar tech. Some are just learning or have never seen this problem.
