No start - very weak spark

Interesting. Everything on mine is "cold".

I am not getting a bright white spark.

What's that tester gapped at? About an inch?

Maybe you need a magneto.

Sorry I should have added a disclaimer.

My spark is very weak, thin, and brown looking.

While cranking, the positive terminal on the coil was getting 5.65 volts with the key on and the module plugged in. When I turn the key (starter turning) the volts increased to 8.2 volts and would fluctuate up to 8.6 volts
