the only thing 60 around here is the windspeed in kilometers and -20c! I wet out to shop in my soprano suit to get some exacto blades and what's that saying about a brass monkey!

I have heard a similar one that used alter boys.
Today is too cold to be sitting at the dock of a bay watching the time roll away.
got that right, I could put some cleats onto the coffee table and lay a couple lines across the floor to trip on, stay near the fireplace and watch Mighty ships! avoid looking out the window at the frozen bay!

It's been nice all weekend, but today it was in the high 60s. 25 degrees above normal. We got a lot done. I drove the 1966 Corvette coupe around my neighborhood.
I believe it is the first time under its own power in at least 20 years. Maybe 30. There's an NCRS sticker on the window from 1997. (National Corvette Restorers Society.)

33F outside but a balmy 70F in the shop. I got the drivers side door card done yesterday and hope to get the passenger side done today. They will be covered with 1/4” landau foam and covered in white vinyl that matches the white painted surfaces perfectly. Believe it or not, the upholstery supply store has about 48 different shades of white…

Cold Ram!! Here though it would be sweating....been in the 70's here for the last several days and is supposed to be 80 today! One extreme to the other. My light bill for one week when it was in the 20's is 80 bucks and my t-stat was set no higher than 68 and was 67 at night. I like to sleep in a cool house but don't really like being in a cool house during the day.
Most of those old trucks didn't have armrests. Any plans on putting them on?
Temps here are supposed to get into the upper 30s & low 40s through early next week which will be a real delight for a change. It'll be nice to see the snow piles finally start to melt down.
beautiful sunny day here about -5c going for a sled ride right after hockey game, just want to see wilson crush gudas a couple more times!
