Not the official weather thread.....

no snow in the last couple days to speak of ,but wind is ripping out of the northwest about 50mph! and temps went from +14 to -14 in 12hrs.

48 this morning.

90 last week.

I call this "Indian Winter", it's like the northern states get "Indian summer" in fall, but backwards here.

Just north and west of me . Spent all night at the GRB Airport trying to clean in front of the hangars on the ramp side and parking lot. Airport was basically shut down for a few days

33" at Shawano!! Holy crap!!!

Cold front came through Sunday night and temps went from the low 80's on Sunday to the high 30's Monday morning with a 30 to 40 mph breeze. Weather report said the airport that's about 10 miles from me had 38....my gauge had 40 at 8:30a and it's only 48 at 10:50a. 90 by Saturday the weather guessers are saying. Nuts.

I live 20 miles west of Shawano

Its around 90 here in Salinas. I went in the attached garage and it was noticeable cooler in there, walked back into the house and the heat was like a wall.
But just a mildly annoying wall.

We've been enjoying great weather out here. I went with my honey for a pooch walk, one of her charges, near the estuary. Low tide time. On the other side of those dunes is the big blue salty pond.

Sucks to be you guys in the midwest & snow/rust belt
or up in the great white north, getting hammered

Upper Tuolumne Co. Ca
Clear mostly sunny skies 3-5 mph winds
Highs of 85* f Tues., lows were like 58* f
Highs of 86* f Wed., lows were like 59* f
supposed to get 89* f here by 3-4 pm, lows of like 56* f supposedly 6-7 am
all at about 24%-25% humidity, pretty low

The resorts are hating it, snows melting fast
our lakes & streams are getting the benefits

still really green outside, grass will be growing big time now too

I like it a lot better than the cold,
along with several feet of snow, frozen rain or ice &/or hail we were having
a few weeks back, getting no electricity/power or US mail delivered

Today 'it is the celebration of Ramadan Ends'
so we might actually be 'burning in hell after all'

Now that it is officially Spring, Vancouver has reported its first snowless winter in 43 years. There were a couple of snowflakes, but not enough to measure. We got rain though!

My neck of the woods just northwest of the cities got 15" snow. Monday got down below zero. This Saturday? A record 79°. Back down to average of low 40s Sunday/Monday.

This is normal peaks and valleys in MN spring weather. But summer is stalking! :)

The joys of modern air travel. The day before yesterday we boarded a plane in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories and it was minus thirty Celsius. Next day arrive in Mazatlan Mexico to plus twenty seven and humidity so high that you can feel your official documents go limp in your hand as you go through customs. Ahhhh… a month of warm temps, amazing people, fresh pineapple, and no cell phone. Picture of our back garden. In about a half hour a very nice lady will cut both of our hair, do Linda’s nails and feet, and chat with my wife and help her get used to speaking Spanish in
that patio.
Mas cerveza por favor!
