Not the official weather thread.....

Nothing horrible, but my place was rearranged a bit by that wind last night.. I would advise everybody in the eastern part of the country to strap things down

I forgot to take my garbage can in, I wonder where it is.

I hope all the the Washington people are OK
We were without power for 18 hours yesterday. It was touch and go! I did fire up the genny to make a pot of coffee and again in the afternoon to get internet for the wife for some work stuff. An old Indian trick that my great great grandpappy taught me.

70 this last week. The radio said the humidity was 6! I didn't know that was possible. When my brother from KC visits, the skin on his fingertips crack.

45+ mph winds last night. The winds were high for about 12 hours so around 2AM I look and see the top is about to fly off my Harbor Freight tarp garage, trying to pull it down was like pulling a parachute that was pulling me to the tips of my toes. I needed to pop a hole in the draw string channel to get the strap and tie it, but had no knife, in the few secs it took me to run inside and get one the top flapped off.
At that point said eff it, gathered it all together and laid a heavy ladder on it.

Guess fixing that may be a weekend project.

Crazy December weather here. So many days in the 60s and 70's. 65 degrees for Christmas Day! Maybe snow on Sunday. I mentioned my brother is visiting from KC. It's so dry here, they brought two humidifiers.

Upper 50s-60 here in central CA and been raining since early yesterday with just a few breaks. Pretty heavy at times (well, our heavy not Guam heavy...just like an inch or so in a day):p

70 degrees. the former record was 63 degrees, set in 1963

Anybody have a home weather station?

I currently have a Davis unit. 3 years old no issues at all.
Weather Girl was not included. Still have to tune in to get the latest.

Nothing but ice here… 1/2 hr later and I was able to get in my truck. I slipped getting out and hit the auto window once it had some heat inside and I ended up having a thick ice window instead…Rather have a 1/2 foot of snow than this…

Rain for a Packer game in December - Really

I guess I won’t have to worry about De-Icing tonight

Colorado Low for Sunday night Monday AM

So I guess winter returns for WI next week

We got about 6" yesterday and then corn ball hail and freezing rain. Blower went through it like crap through a Goose. Clean up today and now tomorrow's forecast is Brett's left overs... with 1/2" of freezing rain accumulation forecast. Generators are full of fuel!
