Hi All.
Bare with me on a stupid question, please.
Purchased a 1970 383 RR with automatic transmission.
The car was sold to me stating it was "numbers matching".
Currently, the car is in the transmission shop, with a tranny leak I could not chase down.
While the transmission was out, I went looking for these "Matching Numbers".
The only numbers I came up with on the case are the following:
PK34106681 3035 2482
Now, since the car is in the air, I could not see the numbers elsewhere on the car. But, none of those numbers I listed above come close to my RM23N-------- V.I.N. number....
Was I hosed on "Matching Numbers".
Again, thank you for your time and answers!!!
