I have seen bolt and spline on Hemi.If you are inside a 727 doing a rebuild, check and make sure set screw at bottom is tight. I have found them loose. I have also JB Welded the splines in the past.
Not going to abuse it but will drive it hard so should be ok.As long as it's not purposely abused such as revving in neutral then dropping in drive, that overrunning clutch should have no trouble providing a very long service life. Make absolutely sure all components of the OC are in perfect condition including rollers, cams, springs and retainers.
Who would ever do a neutral drop that is what a converter is for. And gears and posi and more. Things most know that were taught that way.As long as it's not purposely abused such as revving in neutral then dropping in drive, that overrunning clutch should have no trouble providing a very long service life.
