have an igniter 1 with stock coil, red wire from igniter is going to 12 volt side of ballast res. ok fine. now if i want to put on a flame thrower 1 coil what do i need to change if anything ?

I have used Pertronix for many trouble free years so iirc I hardwired the resistor.
