While the engine was sitting on a stand,i removed the thermostat,put on the old rad hoses blocked the end of the lower and did similar to the upper,reducing it down to 1/4'' pipe thread to accommodate a test gauge. Blocked off heater hoses and filled it with 50 50 anti freeze. I put about 15psi and checked for leaks. I did this a couple of times as i had trouble with the setup i used leaking. My last attempt it held pressure for almost a hour before almost draining down,but i think some of my setup was leaking air ever so small
No water in the oil,no water that i could tell of in the cylinders,no other visible leaks anywhere. So what do you think,am i good to go?????
