Rain predicted all week long.....and just got 1/4" in 8 minutes!

1/4" in 8 minutes comes to less than 2" per hour. Your most rain per hour per 100 year coverage can easily be found online. Then one can decide if that is a lot of rain or a drop in the bucket.

Last weekend, rain was predicted for us all week as well, but we only saw some spitting on one day.

Now they have changed it to zero all week and zero next week.

...but I know it's just a matter of a few weeks or so before monsoon season and rain just about every stinkin' day until around October.

Other than being between two very large bodies of water I can’t think of a reason you’ll have that much rain lol

2020.....could not go out or go anywhere from March until June due to C19.....Sunny and warm that whole time....drought and brown grass many places.
2021.....everything now open and we can pretty much do as we please.......rained pretty much every day in May so far....thunder as I write this. TYPICAL!

I'm about to delete my weather app! Last week I tore the deck off of our house intentionally timing it the day before it rained so I could plant some grass just before the rain... the rain that never came! It's been like this all Spring, they'll call for rain 3 out of 5 days and nothing, don't call for rain and it rains all day long?

Flood warnings till tomorrow evening. Rained again today and not sure when it will stop. We did see the sun for a brief time yesterday. It was just long enough to confirm it is still there.
