Working on my original 383 Roadrunner. The exhaust headpipes are in decent shape so I'd like to find a way to best remove the factory mufflers without destroying the headpipes. Any tips or advices for doing this?
If the mufflers, hangers and pipes are original to the car, could you post some pictures of the pieces? I am always looking for documentation of original pieces and once they are removed or mangled, it is much tougher to work from
Thanks for your efforts and good luck with the process!!
Sure! I can show you what I've found. I kick myself now, but I did Sawzall the tail pipes to get the exhaust out of the car. But other than that, they are intact. I was wondering if I could try and weld the old tail pipes back together to get me by?
On another note, would anyone happen to have one good used 68-70 Plymouth B-Body chrome tip? One of mine was missing from the get-go.
I had flashbacks of the stuff I chopped up or restored in the past........We all have done that Anthony.....I know Justin, I know. Rookie error...
