Roadkill and other car related TV shows

I curse at the car at times but I’m sure I curse at work way more. I work from home and this is when I’m not in a video meeting but I’m often wondering out loud wtf kind of @#$$ is this? Stupid mot@#$%^&s!

I have been hugely pissed many, many times when working on cars. However, since 95% is in my own garage, I have learned to simply walk away when I get pissed. I just set down whatever tool I have in my hand, shut out the lights and walk away. I have learned over the years that if I don't, bad things can happen...

I threw something across the room and it bounced off the windshield of the Max one time. A new windshield went with the car when I sold it.

I occasionally go full retard when working on cars...tools fly, screaming and cursing, sometimes things get smashed. Once, after removing a 340 from a 73 roadrunner project/ parts car, the cherry picker got caught on a pebble, the engine started swinging sending antifreeze flying everywhere. I completely lost it. I hit that cherry picker like a tackle dummy sending it, with the engine, flying out the door of the barn directly into the front end of the roadrunner I had just pushed out. Then smashed the beer bottle I was drinking into the carnage. Cherry picker was totaled, as was both front fenders and the grill of the 73. 2 minutes later I felt stupid and spent hours trying to clean up my mess.

:rofl: I can envision every single part of this post… Thanks for the morning laugh!

I never got in to watching the car, or other, "reality" shows. I have my own every time I'm in the garage working. Or working around the house. Thats true reality. Not scripted fluff.

How come we never see the guys on these shows get angry ?
I saw a couple of episodes of "Fired up Garage" where the boys were fighting with John Klump...... but of course most of it was possibly staged.

Looked fairly realistic for a few minutes.

Ever watch this show? I think the one in the middle is selling those walk in shower remodel jobs ?
I have also seen the one on the right on that Garage squad shop that fix's up car project that are stalled.

The one on the left? On parole?
