No one wants the RR unless they are gluttons for punishment.

A '64 model RR would be nice to have.

For one evening every summer. We do annual reunions now that everybody is dying off. Class of '71. My friend had a brand new hyper performance Jag this year, but the GTX got more attention.

You know you're 50+ if you remember that saying. I confess to saying it to a few Beemer drivers back in the day...

Beemers are BMW motorcycles

Not back in the 80's. I don't recall seeing anybody riding a BMW motorbike back then. Everybody called BMW cars "Beemers", especially in Vancouver...where every third car was a Beemer.
