1964 Polara 500... I'm preparing for windshield replacement and paint. Before I get in to it, I would like to know if I can access the corner trim piece fasteners (or any of the other roof trim for that matter) from the inside without tearing into the headliner.

You shouldn't have to do any thing inside the car. Isn't there fastener/s over the vent window area?

I knew a guy who said those are very difficult to remove without damaging them. There’s a tricky clip under there.

I don’t own one so I didn’t get the instructions on removing them. Sorry.

They can be removed with out damaging them
They connect with the roof rail trim
I just took them off a 65 Belvedere, but I can't remember if they had a screw holding them or not
The gasket covers them if they have a screw above the vent window
