I traded my friend a kit of high quality Daytona clone parts and some cash for this 71 Charger R / T, that he dragged across the country from the Arizona desert. The car has all original sheet metal and was epoxy primed and being prepared for paint when my friend bought the car. He had intended to build the car himself, but a six pack car came up and he bought that one,so he decided to sell this one. We settled the deal more than two years ago, and this weekend I finally brought the car home. He had it stored in a storage trailer and we pulled it out of there last Saturday. It was nice of my friend to let me put my 66 Belvedere in its place in the storage trailer until I can get to it.
