Looks like a beautiful car, nice and straight. What do you mean by “ cut up” exactly?

Guess where the Stroker, narrowed Dana, Caltracs, cage, and Subframe connectors are going

I’ve got various threads while gradually gathering parts to build my Satellite, but lamented giving up the originality and drive ability. Got a sweet deal on this Coronet. It’s gutted, dented but pretty damn solid. The plan is to patch lower quarters, fog in some original (yucky) green and blend in with patina. Lighten it up as much as possible. Split and lift the power bulge to clear my carb and spacer. Then matte black the hood.

Cool thing...comes with a a 400/727 core and has a 8 3/4 rear suregrip wth 323gears so the Satty will still get some goodies, but way more streetable.

Great project ! I know how you feel. I bought a a 63 Belvedere for a parts car out of Tucson. The car is so rust free and solid I couldn't part it out.
In the process of getting it back on the road.

The hood on the coronet is by far the best looking mopar hood ever made. In my opinion, love the power bulge hood.

I’m kinda partial to 68 Satellites myself.
I’ve had mine since ‘81.

Yours looks great!!

Mine had been painted a few times when I got it, but it was silver originally.

This power bulge scoop has been “grafted” on. Fairly descent job.i won’t mind making it taller. Comes with the original flat hood as well.

Man that’s cool you have owned it that long. Thank you. My Satellite is a nice driver, older restoration. It photographs well. The silver hides a lot.

Unfortunately not functional.
My favorite 2 are the 70 Roadrunner and 71 Charger N96 hoods, and then the Shaker.

Only shaker I liked was the Trans Am, I am actually a Pontiac guy. Don’t care for the e body shaker and absolutely hate the gull wing spoilers. Paled in comparison to the wing that was on my 70 GTO
