It could be as simple as adding an H-pipe crossover!

Just a quick followup. I took the car to my trusted muffler and front end shop and had them fab up an H pipe. The crossover pipe really helped by reducing the sharp raspy exhaust note at WOT. Very pleased with the result. I'm sure a couple of resonators would tame it further but
for now I'm a happy camper!

Add an H-pipe, especially with Magnalfows. They don’t sound good at all at WOT without one.
