I picked out a decent set of Ross Forged aluminum piston for my 440. But, the are on back order for two weeks, so I looked into SRP by JE, and they have very similar piston, about $40 cheaper and I can get it sooner. The only major difference is the SRP pistons are about 43g heaver per piston than the Ross. The are going in a 440, +30 over, zero deck, ARP main cap studs, stock forged 3.75" crank, forged 440 source I beam rods 7/16ths arp bolts, moly rings, gapless 2nd ring, fully ported eddy RPM heads
Ross pistons are part #82008 $594

SRP pistons are part #213455 $560

Is there any other differences between them, that may not be advertised? If I go with the SRP, will the extra weight be noticeable in how the engine behaves? If there is no real differences I would feel, I'd like to change the order and get the srp because they will get here sooner and they are cheaper.
