Hey guys quick question. Guy selling stock 1970 rt disk brake set up. Full set up with freshly turned rotors and new pads for 250. Will those mount on 69 coronet drum spindles or do I need original disk spindles? 250 is cheap, but the pst set up for 630 is probly safer being that its new. What do u guys think? And thanks

Would need the factory disc spindles for the 70 R/T brakes.
Alot of the aftermarket sets fit the factory drum brake spindles.

IIRC, scarebird used to make an adaptor to mount factory caliper brackets to factory drum spindles.

Not sure if they're still available.

Yes, you need the spindles. Now if you want to go cheap just get the early 70's big BJ A body spindles and sliding (not pin type) calipers.

Oh, and I think the caliper slider difference is just a bracket swap rather than the whole spindle.
