Is it a chargeable offense if i beat the **** out of these guys??
It depends, what would you charge me? I'm not easily offended, but I am on a budget.

Noooo, you’re still a vet, sorry about that. You raised your hand and swore an oath!I did 6 months active duty and 5 1/2 years in NYSANG. It was something but i never considered myself a veteran and never will. l Id never take a free meal as i dont feel i earned that right. That privilege should be reserved for those who are combat vets and those who served most of there lives. As far as special parking spots. I know a few purple heart recipients as well as as relative who was injured and a POW, some have lingering health issues as a result but I'm sure they would agree special parking spots belong to the handicapped.
Im not trying to convey anything. I was born in 52 and i was in the last draft. At that time we were not sending any more troops to Viet Nam and the lottery to be drafted was in the eighties and lower. Many in my age bracket didn't serve unless they joined. I saw many of the older guys in the neighborhood come back from VN and when in the Guard met many more who were in VN and later joined the Guard while i was still enlisted. I respected and still do those guys many of whom went through hell. Not too sure I understand what your trying to convey Steve.
If he's your kid I'm sure he is a good man and son. Tell him thanks and we appreciate his serviceSteve I have same problem with my oldest. Marine’s in 92-94, no combat & therefore “not a vet”; well IMO that’s just wrong!
I appreciate that but were talking free meals and special parking places, nothing more. Im almost 66 years young and i can outwork guys way younger than me and I'm proud of that. Anybody who thinks i deserve a special parking place because i had the honor of serving my country, well i disagree and thats my opinion and id think any of you guys should respect that. Thanks to restaurant's wanting to give vets a free meal, i just will pass thats all.I am not one bit more entitled to be called veteran then ANY other vet. Period. You either stuck up your hand and swore the oath, or you didn't. Anything you may have done AFTER you swore that oath has zero bearing on whether your a veteran or not. Or deserving of your fellow citizens thanks and love. IMHO.
Are you referring to a “handicapped” parking space or one for Veterans?
Agree 100%. You did all the training and prep work that everyone else did. I understand what your saying. It is out of respect. Thats an admirable quality!Noooo, you’re still a vet, sorry about that. You raised your hand and swore an oath!
that do that ****...
