Stop on in for a cup of coffee!

Looking at replacing my flourescent fixtures in my garage or adding some LED to get some more light.. they are 20 years old and work fine (other than 1) but my older eyes seem to watn more light. current ones are 4 4ft tubes. not sure on lumens.. 4ft leds are $15.. stupid cheap
I feel your pain! My kids complain that my garage is now like working on the surface of the sun - they complain that it is too bright. I bought LED lights from Summit that are the same size as fluorescent fixtures and they really do work great. I have 4 old fluorescent fixtures that are still in use (at the sides of my garage to illuminate under a car on the lift). But I have found the LEDs to be so much better that I may soon also replace those with LED lights.

I just have the old screw in sockets but I replaced the light bulbs with the 4 section LED's. Bought them at Menards for $5 each. Nice thing is that they are adjustable. I have them in all 3 garages now. Something like these.

any idea how far yours was out? When i first put my car together i ran it on jackstands and when it would go into third and rev a little it felt like it was trying to shake the car apart.. right now i can feel a litte at 50-55mph (which stops me from going higher).. last time out i took it to bout 60, put it in neutral and killed the motor, it actually shook worse for a second then normal to below 50. so something in the driveline/tires.

Or center section.. but something isn't happy.
I believe I put a shim in the rear to bring the pinion down 2 degrees

I was at a heavy duty truck alignment shop and grabbed a couple of used alignment shims that were in the scrap bin.
The 71 Demon I had as a kid had a similar vibration that you describe you’re experiencing. Getting the angle right took care of of it.

Hope so, i went from too down to too up i think :) Good shims aren't cheap, but didn't want some $20 aluminum ones in there

Drinking a cup right now. I don't work, but I check my investments, and direction every morning. Square away the day's events and read everything known to God till about 9, starting here. Master cylinder made me lose my place in line at the only place I let alien my cars. As long as it's inside under a cover, I don't care, be patient grasshopper........... LOL.

I tend to drink coffee and go through the forums and FB marketplace looking for a spare 65 trans, they pop up now and then.. and also a 750ish holley to try on my motor.. don't feel like paying $800 to just play around trying stuff..

On my first half cup right now. It's the extra that won't fit in the wife's mug. I have to milk and sugar her coffee but until a few years ago, she wasn't a coffee drinker at all. She was a Mountain Dew girl. Can't stand that stuff.

My ex boss drinks mountain dew non stop... he has fillings in literally all his teeth....

Looks like low 50's and windy here. I might wait until tomorrow or Thursday for mowing. High 50's and sunny sounds like more fun.

Picked up a NORS starter relay for my Polara. Just in case I need it.

Ah, it looks like the city crew is going to work on the alley. It has some bad ruts and washouts in it. They usually add some reclaimed asphalt and work it in. They have one of this small rollers this time. They make it smooth and everybody that uses it will think it's a race track. LOL
