Stop on in for a cup of coffee!

Another cold day in michigan... Think it's time to start taking the car apart soon.. Really looking forward to pushing the door jambs back out where they are supposed to be.. that bodyline being so far off makes me nuts everytime i see it.. kinda wish i could reinforce it.. but with how little i drive and i don't slam doors, i don't think it will be an issue...

Also need to decide if i wanna take off the drivers door and repaint it over winter.. kinda funny but i will be at like 40% of the car repainted and not matching.. luckily i don't care that much. 1 color and kinda shiny is good enough for me.

The paint i used on the fenders is a tiny bit too bright.. wondering if painting over a black primer would help.. BUT.. it's like 3 coats of single stage, so not sure if primer matters when you get that much one..

Morning from north Iowa. Working on my 4th cup before I get my *** moving. I also have a nasty sinus headache so I am slow to get moving. Morning routine is ice and TENS device on my back, watching a little Motor Trend TV. and drinking coffee. I hope to get one or two more drives in this fall. We drove the Satellite 3300 miles earlier this month so I think the Super Coupe will get some miles, its a great car I just have not had much time in the drivers seat. I think I might get a custom license plate NOTANOVA. Not sure if we get eight letters but lots of people think it is a Nova.

Sinus headaches are the worst i get them too much... I kinda wanna switch from 4.30s to 3.23s do driving is less annoying but it's hard to give up the WEEEEEeee factor 3300 miles is more than i will do in 10 years

Nice one Scott. Those are cool cars. I think 7 characters is the limit on the plates. You'll have to get creative.

This morning I need to go in to the eye doctor and see how my right eye is healing from retinal detachment. My eyes have been giving me fits since early last year, I have now had 5 surgeries on them, so I am really hoping I won't need a 6th.

I have some caffeine pills that I take when needed. Bought them at Wal Mart. Nice for traveling to keep you awake and out of the bathroom. LOL

Another day here. Rain was predicted yesterday, but changed to no rain for today. I will pressure wash some dirty things today. My truck, the small boat, the small water tank, and a tarp. Blasted the Tukvan earlier. It gets the preferred spot under a roof.
Forgot to mention the coffee. We get the beNs from Walmart.
Shirley makes an octane boost that tastes like Kalua. Rye whiskey is the boost ingredient. The rest is her secret. I make sure I have enough reserves if she goes somewhere.

My knees are starting to ache. Started about 6 months ago. Bummer. We will likely sell the 34 foot sail boat in 2026. I am not as agile as before. Probably bursitis from my online looking. A winter rest should help. Other wise no health problems for this 79 year old. Will ride one of the bikes today if the rain stays away. I meet a guy a couple of years older than me up Island. He has had a stroke, and lost weight. Might not last long. I give him my Scientific America mags after I read them.
