StuBBle has left the field.

This had to be lifted a good 1/4” up as it was all pushed down from the damage.

Once that was at the proper height the deck lid touched in two places as the driver side quarter panel was pushed inwards in the original accident. I pushed it out about 1/4-3/8” and it relaxed at the position it is at. Now I just have some hammer taps to straighten the top up as good as possible.

I’m really really good at not taking pictures before I start a job! Then about half way through I think about it. So I said Stubble did some stubble jumping near the end of his life. It wasn’t the end because they puttied it up and kept driving him. Anyway, the front rail in the passenger side was crunched and pushed up. It didn’t carry into the body because the door still closes like brand new. But it bent the inner fender, the floor and the surrounding mounts. Well, after I disconnected the rail from the torsion bar cross member, I rigged up a heavy piece of tubing and a couple jacks and a bar and a jack stand and a few hammers and went to work. I will need a new rail or if I can find a piece I will just section it in. Here are some pics of the task. Basically at the end of it though! Damn it! :)

Isn’t that the truth.
Great way to pull. Pulling against her self.
When I seen your pictures I thought you had her on a frame jig. Had to go back and read again.

Sounds like it’s up to Mother Mopar specs. You know yourself they were never perfect from the factory. No two exactly alike. I have given lots of measurements an pictures over the years for guys trying to get them close.
Yes think about us kids, we love them pictures. lol

Man I love having a parts car. I already used the trunk lid. Now I just grabbed the bucket seat support plates, slap stick mounts and shifter. It will donate the rear floor pan as well. Good thing, they are currently unavailable from AMD. Then the……. :)

But one of the coolest things I have ever found in a car is this. A completely unmarked fender tag. It was under the driver side carpet. WTH?

I think I might use it on this clone!
Special order car. No specified options. Things just randomly installed as it rolled down the line!

Wow that is quite a find. Not a number or mark on it? Put it on the fender for the reactions. lol
Yes the floor does look nice for sure. Piece in a new section and finish??

Not a single mark on it!

Yup, I'm gonna drill out the rear and maybe cut a bit up under the seat. Then tap some more dents out, weld up some drilled holes and that will wrap up the floor.

Well worth hanging onto. Nice conversation piece for sure.

Funny how these cars had so many holes drilled in them. I always wondered why? We had to fill in over 50 holes in my Charger. The research I had to do to figure out which holes were original and were not. The hours I put in on here, D C - com and the Registry.

Ya they were pin cushions for sure! This one had a B&M shifter so that was some. Seats made a few more. Then exhaust hangers added to it.
What?? You mean your car never came with spot lights Or a wing bolted to your roof? Yes roof. I even had gable roof vents screwed to the front of the rear wheel wells. Made it look like nascar cooling vents for the rear brakes. So I was told.

I forgot to mention the car came with two rallye clusters. Both of the bezels are damaged but I found a mint one. Now I just have to install the 150 speedo into the tach cluster and I have what it needs. I got a complete wiring harness for the car with the bezel so the rallye conversion will be easy.
