Swap a 400 for a FI 360

I have a 72 big block charger with a manual transmission. The engine is no good and have purchased 2 blocks which have both measured unusable. Was thinking of going to a 360 motor from a later model truck. Has anybody done this swap. My concerns are VSS, pilot bushing, bell housing, OBDII vs. OBDI and K frame compatibility

Any input would be appreciated

The way, and I mean way cheaper route would be to find another 400 or 383 and do that. Late model magnums are great, you can get a wiring harness for it and have the fi. Check out hotwireauto.com, they can steer ya in the right direction.
