the pub where you drink/ drank at

Shakey's Pub and Grub, Florence, KY. Use to be right here and looks to have a new name and permanently closed. Spent many nights here watching football and baseball.

Silver Dollar Hofbrau in Fresno CA.
Great food, great bar and great atmosphere. Named after my Grandpa's lifelong collection of old-timey real silver dollars that he inlaid in the bar top under a thick clear epoxy.
My Gramps along with his two younger brothers built and owned it. His second 'hofbrau'-style establishment, they ran it until he retired in the early 80s.
A clause of the sale was 'the family' got a 10-year free tab...but we spent a lot of time there even after we became regular paying schmoes.
The subsequent owners had their ups-and-downs but kept it going until about 2015 when they closed it...it then became a Hustler "naughty store" much to the dismay of the community, and some in my family...but I always said gramps would've gotten a kick out of it, being the dirty old Navy man he was:p
We miss it...

Chilkoot Charlies,(name IIRC) Also in Anchorage,
Cook Inlet near the frontage, down like 4th or C-street
(the rest {1st 2nd 3rd st. A or B st.s} fell/sloughed off in the 1963-64 (?) massive Earthquake)
was cool place too
old saloon, from the Klondike era, new people kept buying it
keeping it going...

It used to be called the Dam Site Inn, now it’s the Hell Saloon, down in Hell, Michigan. We still go there for the great fish and chips, but only the bride will order an alcoholic beverage. Many a night spent there in the past, and they used to have cash and carry beer at the end of the night. Known for its rowdy crowd, rock and roll music, it’s still very popular with the biker crowd, and is a frequent stop for many riding the beautiful backroads of SE Michigan.
