Thursday evening FMJ had arranged a get together dinner that blew me away!! At the table were Doug,his son Scott and 2 other legends that I never dreamed that I would be sitting at a dinner table with,,,,more like waiting in line for their autograph To say I had a wonderfull time is an understatement

Friday I goofed off in the AM and headed down to the M1 around noon only to find out they don't let the GP 'till 3pm So I started cruising down Woodward ave a little but of course ther wasn't anyone out yet.I found a shady {as in no sun} to park and make a few calls including Mr "P",we spoke for quite some time before he had to leave. Shortly after that DVW called to let me know he was headed home and to come on over and said the BOSS wanted to know if I was staying for supper,,,,,well you can NEVER say no to the boss.
So I headed over to the house and was warmly greeted By Doug & Deb. Wasn't long before I was in Dougs man cave and had my breath taken away. Pictures do no justice to his 64 'till you see it with your own eyes!Deb's Challenger is,,,er almost as nice as Dougs 64!
Would really like to thank the Wrights for their hospitality as I had a wonderful time and the Tacos were FANTASTIC!!!

Walked around for a while and watched the "thrill ride". That made me want to go back to the starting lineStopped at the announcing tent to say hello to Steve Magnante.

So Al, it's a little unclear what this "event" actually is here. From what I can tell, "Roadkill Nights" is last week's main attraction which has become a precursor to The Dream Cruise which starts next week? But it all seems blurred together over what, three weeks of informal get togethers and cruising, etc.

This was the Roadkill Nights event. Woodward Ave was shut down by 10 pm Friday night which messed my cruise up to the Pontiac loop.On the way back it was shutdown and detours were used.The official Woodward event is next weekend.
This was a last minute thing as the original plans with 4 cars fell apart........
