The rear springs are sagging BAD with any weight in the rear. I have pretty much decided to go with the Springs-N-Things works kit, but was curious between the 5 and 6 leaf kits. It appears that what is on the car currently are 3 leaf packs. Im not sure if I am counting them wrong somehow or if the stock leafs were extremely underwhelming. Will vehicle height be affected between either choices?

End goal I would like this to be a good vacation car to take the family out and possibly hook up a trailer hitch for a small pop up or some jet skis.

If you want stock ride height, then order them that way. If they are correctly made then the number of leaves will not affect ride height under a no load condition.

Go with the 6 leaf kit if you plan to load-up & tow.

In May I put new springs made to stock specs on my Satellite from them. Very happy with the results.

Espo is the way to go,summit is junk. Espo will give you plus 1 or plus 2 or stock. Great people and I will buy from them again.

Laura emailed me back and I guess the 'stock' option is a 4-1/2 leaf kit but described as a 5 leaf.
A co worker mentioned to me about the unloaded ride quality. Would the HD setup make a spirited cruise feel like a "sledge hammer to the spine"?

Mine had some sag, probably less than yours. Inserted a Summit single truck leaf (cheap) on each side, and it raised about 1 1/4. Perfect for me. Good ride and problem solved. 69 R/T with about 100k on the clock. FYI. Good luck.
