First responders tore the door off to rescue the driver, and there looks to be a ppe glove on the seat. Someone got hurt.
I hope they made out better than the car and recovered!

I'm thinking as bad as it looks the driver was probably beat up but shouldn't be to badly hurt... The seat and drivers area is pretty much intact, steering wheel isn't bent.... ... Broken ribs, sure, Broken arm or leg, maybe...Bruised knee, yeah.. Broken nose or jaw, possible...

The problem is the rapid deceleration (or acceleration if hit from behind) felt through the human body in these old cars with no crumple zones.
I read somewhere of an accident here in Oz, the driver looked ok, but his aorta had detached and he was gone.
