Thomas 1968 Charger project

Your car does look great in the sunshine! Keep up the good work.
Thanks! Any luck fitting your headliner? Just picked up a new black headliner for my car but I Think I´m missing some of the bows, so will have to source some new ones.

Progress on my new trans tunnel. Cut and lifted the rear part of the tunnel and built a completely new one from the gearbox and forward. Will weld in the new top part and then remove the engine and trans to weld everything from the underside as well.
Then comes rustprofing and painting to mach the rest.

Engine/trans is out and new trans tunnel is in. Next in line is to reinforce the framework that runs above the gearbox and to fabricate a new gearbox crossmember.

Engine and trans back in place.
Finished the new transtunnel with a supporting brace above the transmission. All welded from both sides, primed, pianted and sprayed with undercoating. Also connected all of the new engine harness.Desided to place the PCM under the dash so had to route the harness through the firewall.
The PDC found its place in the engine bay.
Next weekend will be focused on fabrication of the new gearbox crossmember.

Finished my new fuelsystem last weekend. New tank from Tanks Inc with built in fuelpump for fuelinjection and sending unit that connects to my original fuel guage. Feeding into a GM fuelfilter/FPR (normaly used on LS swaps) that enables me to run only one fuelline all the way to the engine.New fuellines and fittings all the way. Trying to keep a "factory look" on everything.

Spent the past weekend testfitting my dash and connecting my heaterbox.
Pretty pleased with how it turned out, almost looks like a OE fittment.
Used some hoses that came with the engine and other hardlines and fittings I had laying around.
Also made two custom "walls" to separate the passenger department from the trunk.
This will also dubble as i boombox in my stereo, even thou I will probably prefer the sound of my gen 3 hemi :)
