Bad, as in poor artistic taste

To me, it really depends on the car or the flames style

on racecars, I think flames are pretty damn cool

some altered T-bucket or old 30's or 40's ride,
not overly done

like I said it really depends on the car, styling
even the type of flames, some just are horrid

contemporary cars flames don't look right

I've seen some ghost flames done really well
or the true flames done really well too
RIP Mike LaValley (spelling)

The problem is they usually go way to far

34 Ford California Kid car was cool back in it's day
overdone for me or my tastes now

I dug it when I was younger

You're right! I can't do a whole car done in flames. Even really well done flames covering the whole car and under the hood is a bit much for me.
What I really love is when they paint the side chrome on a car with an air Brush that looks like the original chrome, that's an art!

like this one styling
was done IIRC some 25 years ago org.

it was cool in the 90's
I don't like it as much now

so was tweed interior & polished billet everything too :poke:
