Tom Weiskopf won't be down!

Tom Weiskopf, the winner of 16 PGA Tour titles, including the 1973 British Open, died on Aug. 20. He was 79, and had been dealing with pancreatic cancer since late 2020. RIP Tom

Sad affliction - RIP and all the best for his family. Was sort of turned off by his sometimes overly lofty commentary; but some other pros were like this too. No knock to Tom, just people's persona's. Had the pleasure of encountering some of the old pro's who were a hoot...Lee Trevino, Fuzzy Zoeller, and Payne Stewart when they played at The Greater Milwaukee Open, course nearby. Public course I played often. Then a couple others who wouldn't give ya the time of day. Stories went that some pro's didn't want to be paired with Trevino cuz he'd never stop yapping. Following him along, I saw (or heard) what they mean, he was hilarious. lol
