Ok, I asked a month or so ago, about my lock situation, I have only one key, I have been told it is to old and worn out to duplicate. Someone suggested a lock smith, which I tried, they cut one key, no luck, then they tried two different type keys, still no luck, now they want to remove the lock system and try and cut one from the tumbler it self, for about $40.00.
Has anyone ever gone through this and how did you solve it.
Or should I be trying to find a new tumbler sleeve and replace it all my self?
Where would I look for such a new mechanism?
