Just wondering what everyone did for their trunk pan finishing. Just wondering if theres a good quality coating thats durable n looks great when finished!

Not too concerned about authenticity. Im thinking something like a rhino liner but not sure how it will look

on nonrestoration cars i use bed linner.nothing will damage it and it looks nice.

Sprayed in SEM Rock-it Bedliner in the trunk and entire bottom of my Roadrunner, Coronet, my truck bed and a couple friends vehicles. Tough as nails, has a nice textured look, comes tintable and is a sound deadener. If you go that route, don't waste your money on any kind of roll/brush on bedliners. There is no comparison between them. Buy a couple cans of trunk spatter paint if you want to dress it up. Toss on a couple coats of Rust bullet or POR15 before the bedliner and your trunk will be rust free for many many years.

SEM kit is $100 bucks. Comes with the gun, 4 quarts liner, 1 quart catalyst, mixing cup (tintable kit also comes with Sem-sol). Very easy to do if you can manage taping off over spray areas, use sand paper/scuff pads and dial in a little regulator to the proper psi that comes on the directions. Need a medium sized compressor, 25-30 GAL would be big enough. A trunk will only use up about half the kit.

Good luck whatever route you go.... Roadrunner Trunk with SEM Rock-it:

No problem....You heard right. SEM is a professional line of products with good results. Cost is obviously higher than the mainstream stuff, but you get what you pay for. Good luck, I hope your project goes well.

I did the same, spayed the whole bottom of the car, floor boards and trunk with PPG Epoxy primer and then spray on bed liner. Worked great
