There was a '70 440 six pack on ebay recently that originally had a 383 (per VIN). I questioned the listing, which inferred the rare 440 six-barrel was original. Today, I received an e-mail answer back that a museum person will be inspecting the vehicle shortly to determine, once and for all, the "truth".

Don't know if this is the right place to post this, but my voltage indicator is showing discharge while my 74 Roadrunner is running. Take off the battery cable it dies. Checked alternator, its ok. Checked voltage regulator, it's ok. What else can I check?

Check firewall bulkhead connection where amp wire goes through. It is most likely bad connection there or at amp meter gauge. These are the issues that literally burn these cars up.
