Hi there, I have replaced the vent window seals on my 69 Charger, i noticed the gap between the lower vent window seal and the door gap it sits it. Does this need a sealant to fill in the gap or just put the stainless trim on? Just worried about water going into my doors if the rubbers not tight in the door window gap.
Thanks guys.

I have not seen any sealant there when taking them out. When I put mine back together I did not use anything.
