What’s your favorite wheel on a drag car?

So I had this set of Weld drag lites powder coated in Pitch black metallic. They are pretty wild out in the sun but look pretty killer. No the tires don’t match. I got an awesome deal on the rears and couldn’t force myself to pay $100 a piece more for Goodyear front runners over Mickeys. The 63 is coming right along. Little laquer thinner will take of those spray on letters.

Yep, I always remove the spray on lettering off of my tires also.

They are 17x33x15. Little wider than I wanted but I couldn’t pass them up and have plenty of room. Had 16” wide on it before.

Rockets in the front and Bogart Steely Dans in the back. Period correct look to satisfy the nostalgia class. They didn’t like my Supertricks because they came out in 1970

well i'm just an vintage american racing equip guy , and i think there the best of the rest ! as they have been copied by almost ever rim manufacturer since the beginning of romeo's first designs . yes , romeo palamites was the designer of the american mags and handed the rims production over to his sponsor , do to his work load with the racing cars that he was campaigning , and the first pic is his twin blower intake . i'm sure some of you remember those setups on a few sling shot rails of days pasted .
