What are good head gaskets for a 440 for street and some drag racing Edelbrock 60829 - Edelbrock Performer RPM Cylinder Heads 75 CC thank you

I've used Felpro gaskets for years and had no issues. Cometic I've heard are good and you can buy different thicknesses to fine tune your CR. They are pricey though.

Whats your deck clearance, compression ratio, how much quench- distance between piston at TDC and head flat?
Do you think you need more compression- or less?

The only drawback I see with the Fel Pro gaskets is that their wire ring that surrounds the cylinders leaves an impression in aluminum heads. If you remove the heads, you have to resurface them to ensure that they will seal up tight.
I'd use whatever the head manufacturer suggests unless you need to alter the compression ratio with a thicker gasket like a custom Cometic or Flatout.

If a .039" thick gasket will give you what you need, and you are 12:1 compression or less, I would use the FelPro 8519PT1. It won't brinnell the aluminum head like the 1009 FelPro will that Kern Dog is warning about. I have used the 8519PT1 successfully to 850+ horsepower at 11.9:1 compression. They are only $18.99 each at Summit Racing.

I think those are the standard head gaskets that come in the Fel-Pro KS-2110 Engine gasket kit ($55.99 for all the gaskets except valley tray/manifold gasket.)
I have used them with aluminum heads up to 11:1 compression and 600 HP.
Usually above that the budget can afford the Cometic MLS gaskets ($85.83 each at Summit Racing.)
Normally I get the KS-2110 gasket kit with the Valley pan/intake gasket kit without the exhaust crossover hole, Fel-Pro 1215 (RB Engine), or Fel-Pro 1214 (B engine.)

Yes, they are the standard blue head gaskets that come in the FelPro kit.

I used Victor and McCord Marine when I needed a thick one
Stainless core etc actually the same as their HP gasket

I liked the Edelbrock white "sticky" gaskets (Corteco?), but the last time I ordered them from Summit, there were regular (.050"+) replacement FelPro gaskets in the Edelbrock packaging (NOT 1009's). What a pisser!!

Check Victor 3464VM
gaskets and bore sizez ca 1990
McCord 6815m = 94-2016 the standard head gasket is a 6810M 4.485or 6810 (shim) 4.450
the 413 shim was 6487 4.325
or 6774 4.320
7076 4.450 440-3 Motorhome 72-80

many are discontinued
the 6815M is a "solid seal" head gasket which is listed in the truck section but is identical to the HP Performance 94-2016
I have the thickness somewhere but is around .052
I still use the shims to scribe around head chambers, the truck ones are stainless notice one is the same as a .30 0ver 440
scribe- stick in serdi open chamber hand blend done quick enough to do when you are just doing bottom blend type valve job
