What did you do today....other than work on your car!?

Funny, I have never replaced the rear shoes on my Dakota.
177,000 miles and it still doesn't need them!
...and yes, they are engaging.

I avoid the dealer like the plague, Had the tires replaced on my 2016 hellcat with "0" scratches, got one an inch long in front of my rear quarter now, :mob:
Mine just destroys the nuts with their worn out impact sockets! Last job was on prepaid maint during warranty period. It'll never see the dealer again now that it's 7.5 years old.

Last two days getting ready for the pavers next month. Roof runoff cement slab gone, borrowed a yard of A off the road, drove the machine over working good and dismantled our step into the bucket. I guess tomorrow is figuring out how to get the boom up and driving the POS back into the woods where I should have left it!

you ever know what's beneath

Another 10 hour work day that got us no closer to getting out of here, but I keep saying family comes first. Son in Law wanted a log splitter, figured no big deal... he can have my old one. Both tires flat, won't hold air. 10 out of 12 lug nuts won't budge. Only wheels /tires I have with the correct spacing are on my tri-axle trailer. Grab the spare and need one from the trailer. 5 nuts come off and stud #6 spins in the hub. Torch time...

Fancy Rims!

Went out this morning and met member @Brian Spector and sold him my Nos 66 Coronet 500 passenger side grille. Nice guy so if anyone can help he now needs the driver's side.

AND Spent yesterday with my youngest boy who for some reason wanted a Jeep. Well he found one that had everything he wanted out of state so we left yesterday morning and did all the paperwork then drove it back home. His Mega cab Diesel got 20 MPG doing 70-75 down and back. So it's a 2021 4 dr Willy's Hardtop clean only 29,000 miles v-6 w/heated seats & steering wheel, remote start, power windows, Silver w/black interior, factory hitch, back up camera etc..

Finished replumbing the tub/shower supply in our soon to be For Sale property. Had a heck of a time sweating the ball valves, and fittings, must really be losing my skill set ! Had to retape a couple leaks, but end result is Good !!!

Best I ever got with my 97 Club Cab long bed diesel is 21 but got 19 towing a 3900 lb trailer which I thought wasn't bad. Nice looking Jeep btw.

Seems like iirc it got 25 once from Houston to Dallas with a pretty good south wind.....thing is, not all fuel pumps are the same so unless you can fill up at the same place all the time and know that they pump a true gallon, it's hard to know.
