What did you do today....other than work on your car!?

I slipped and fell on a patch of ice on my right side. Tonight isn't going to be fun trying to slerp. May be in the recliner. I don't think I broke anything but my knee and ribs are screaming at me. I just sneezed. Don't want to do that again.

Thanks ^^^ there's no respect anymore. I do the three piece and tie for any funeral, I don't care if they were my Sister or someone I never met. Weddings have become similar, with people showing up in shorts and T shirts. Just stay the f home if that's your best...
Well I actually don’t have any good formal attire, haven’t had a suit since I was a child. I did a compromise since even if I wasn’t unemployed I wouldn’t spend the money I imagine a suit costs. I got new black pants since everything I already had is too big from recent weight loss with a new black sweater. I was still more formal there than most and the lady whose mother died did say I clean up really well. She’s used to seeing me in sweats and flip flops in the driveway as I work on cars.
The one break I’ll give everyone was the lady was Hispanic but very patriotic of the USA and I guess wanted people in the flag colors. I just didn’t get the memo in time, but that doesn’t excuse the way some dressed.
If you can see the water below, you're on it lol

Yup....having a rider is a bit different if they don't know how to act and I've had a few of those on the back before. One was real bad. Told her to just keep her body in line with mine and things would be fine. She did.

Catholic church? Don't know if other faiths have them but I know for sure that the Catholics do....used to go to one as a child.
Yep Catholic, so I learned a little about how they do things today. For some prayers they put their hands up and I started to but then thought of the movie trope where the person is pushed out on stage during a dance routine and they try to do it, but are always a step behind. So I decided no need to fake it, just stand and be respectful.

No excuse! You can get cooling ties...
Thorzt Cooling Neck Tie
Having the top button of my shirt buttoned up is worse than wearing a tie and wearing a jacket over the buttoned up shirt only makes it worse feeling. Wintertime makes things better but the tie comes off and the shirt top button is unbuttoned pretty quickly after the graveside service is done and everyone is walking away. It's not so much about the summertime heat but it is a factor.

It's always "your shoulders go where my shoulders go" for me... The ex did fine generally - we hotlapped Road America together, and I had a knee down - but the bridge just freaked her out.
I had a GpZ750 for 35 years and my instruction to my wife was stay in line with the bike at all times. That keeps her weight neutral. If I lean into a corner, I don't need a second body leaning. It takes time and trust for a passenger to let the rider control the bike.
