What mega hit movie have you never seen and why????

Star Wars - never seen it, nor any of the other 114 pre-makes, re-makes, future makes and
fakes. Don't need to, since everyone wants to tell me about it all the time.
Give me a real good western anytime. From Ox Bow Incident to High Noon to The Assassination of Jesse James to Appaloosa, westerns are awesome.

I'll take a good war story anytime. Dunkirk was awesome, has to be seen in a theatre. I'll venture into a movie house if it's a great flick (so about once every two years).

But never Star Wars, can't pay me enough to see it.

Ive never seen any F&F except the furst
Reason. The first sucked I'm sure the rest did.
Haven't seen any of the new super hero movies, they all look lame.

In fact I don't watch many movies, I outright despise most Hollywood therefore I refuse to give them my $$$$

The last movie i saw was Forrest Gump which i thought was excellent as I'm a Tom Hanks fan. We do frequent Broadway shows as live entertainment cant be beat. The comments here about cell phone usage during a movie would drive me crazy and maybe its me but to use your cell phone and disturbing everyone around you should earn that person to be ejected from the theater.
What i dont get and never will is this attitude of hostility toward the entertainment industry. The actors who work in the movie industry are a very small part of the operation but often have the most to say about any number of things. Myself i dont care what there opinions are, they are there for the sole purpose of entertainment.
I should probably take the wife to the movies more often as she might enjoy that. We will go during the week in the early afternoon when the rift raft are mostly not there and the movies are frequented by older boring people like me who shut off there cell phones when in a theater.

However, the oldies and Mopar goodies are a different story: Vanishing Point, Dirty Mary Crazy Larry, Bullit, etc.

I love a good movie, always have. Ever since the first movie I saw in the theater, Thunderball. And, what was better than the drive-in ? It didn't matter what was playin' when you were busy playin'. The sad fact is, there aren't any good ones anymore. Everything is cluttered with phony action like a cartoon.

After reading a bunch of the responses
I have to add the Lefty spin on the take of Hollwierd
celebrity BS, fake history, skewed reality, the industry hypocrites BS...
The disrespect political BS from "all the losers" at the numerous awards shows
doesn't help either...
IMO has turned many people "I know" away from the theaters too
against Hollywierd in general...

I use to really enjoy a good movie especially the drive ins
more so than the indoor experiances,
But there were a few must see indoor flicks...

Just not worth it to me anymore,
my $$$ doesn't go to support that lame *** group
of degenerates & unpatriotic losers anymore either...

to each their own, it was asked so we all commented
"sometimes the truth hurts the most"

my $0.25 cents

Fast and furious - can't stand the cast and the stupid one liners just from the trailers ..

Can't believe the hatred for the theater on here! When I was a kid I loved going to the movies.. hell back then it was a treat for dad to rent a VHS player and a movie let alone the theater. I've got a 9 and 11 year old now and take them often and still enjoy it. We've seen all of the Harry Potters, Avengers, Lord of the rings, Hobbits, Star Wars and many more... still enjoy it.
VHS or even cable TV were unheard of. Theater was the only place to see new movies. We often did not even have a TV.
Yea I'm an old fart.

I like going to movies I won't eat dinner and get a large popcorn and drink .
As mentioned in some earlier posts it pretty expensive .
My wife usually gets two passes every 2-3 months so that's when we go .
I also have a pretty good stereo and TV set up here at home .

Pirates of the Caribbean series

saw 1 of them on TV, not sure in line which one
started to watch a 2nd, stopped & erased the DVR
was not worth watching

Baby Driver.....was it a mega movie? I liked it but still like the oldies better and even some of the more modern movies that have some of the oldie actors in them. Scent of a Woman was another I liked along with the more recent films with Eastwood. Meet the Forkers is also on my 'A' list along with many others. Rain Man comes to mind as another as just about any show with Jack in it.....

The first one was the only decent one.

As for me, I've never watched Gone With The Wind.
